Discrimination has no place in football, yet it remains deeply present. To raise awareness we created a campaign that confronts this reality through two powerful mini-documentaries starring players Khalid Boulahrouz and Wout Brama.

Both films carry the same core message normalising speaking up against discrimination, while showing how this mindset already lives within clubs today and encouraging others to recognise its value and take part. By giving space to the personal stories of football icons Boulahrouz and Brama, the campaign turns a complex societal issue into a human conversation, one that challenges, connects and demands reflection.
While the message is shared, the perspectives are deliberately different. Each film takes place at a different club, with its own culture, history and relationship to discrimination, mirrored by the contrasting personalities of the two players. Based on in-depth pre-interviews, we shaped distinct narrative angles for each film, allowing their stories to diverge organically.
To achieve this, we chose a hybrid documentary approach. The films are unscripted to capture genuine emotions, spontaneous reactions and natural interactions, while being guided by a carefully prepared thematic line-up to ensure structure and narrative flow. By balancing authenticity with direction, we were able to capture the soul of the clubs and translate the message into something tangible and felt. Not just to raise awareness, but to empower players, parents and supporters to speak up, and help ensure that football, and the world beyond it, is truly a place for everyone.
“The club and its locker room is a reflection of society. It shapes who you are and the values you carry.” - Wout Brama
